OP Here,
I have never used a cover so I cannot speak from experience only what I have seen in bits and pieces here on the forum.
First issue I have is my 5th wheel has no ladder so I will need to have one available to cover RV. I believe someone has to get on the roof and work the cover over the RV. I am disabled and getting on the roof will be next to impossible for me.
Every cover I researched (I did look into this) had multiple complaints about durability. Several reported cover only lasted one winter.
The winters here can be very harsh. The open lot where I store is next to fields that allows wind to blow right thru. I am concerned about two things one having to go over and retie the cover frequently and the second is damage to the RV itself. Some people on this forum reported that the cover wore the finish / trim on their RV's when in the wind.
Then there is the cost at least $322 plus shipping for a ADCO cover to fit my 5th wheel. Winter underground storage costs $270.
Again I have no experience with covers so if I stated something wrong then please let me know.
Thanks!
Dave
