I'd just blow the flush valve out with an air compressor and call it done, or if you can pump a few ounces of RV antifreeze into that valve, it will not hurt anything.
If in NY, I'd winterize everything else "wet" with the pink stuff. Make sure to get the RV antifreeze without ethanol because ethanol is hard on the O-rings and seals.
