Wisconsin rest stops
Are they open??? with the shut down in govt. Plan to head up to the Land of 10,000 lakes and might need a rest.:B

Methinks Gov. Walker's doing a little grandstanding here- I can just imagine the uproar there'd be if he actually volunteered Wisconsin's money to pick up the slack on Federally funded/managed properties!
All of the supposedly affected Wisconsin properties listed in this news article, for one, are in fact funded by Wisconsin taxpayers, not the Feds.
Same goes for highway rest stops, as noted earlier.
