Who says we don't have seasons in Florida - We have Pre-summer, Summer, and finally Post-summer !
I do miss the snow - nothing more beautiful then a fresh snowfall. But I don't miss the below zero temperatures, and I especially don't miss the endless grey, dreary days that seemed to start in November and didn't go away until sometime near the end of March.
Winter lasts way too long up north. There is a lot to be said for 80 degree temps, green grass and palm trees and munching shrimp and sipping umbrella drinks at the local tiki hut while watching the sun set out over the Gulf.
