Having spent most of my working life in fields dominated by men I'm used to the "lil woman" thunk and use it to my advantage if need be.
Tell me sweet lil lies and I just bat my lashes and listen until an opportunity presents itself to question. It's a game and sure I can play it too. Tell me sweet lil lies after realising I MIGHT know of what is spoken about and I cross you off the preferred vendors' list. Treat me as an adult with a working knowledge of a multi dwelling's mechanical system and alllll will be fine.
Never bought a car but doubt I'll have the man in attendance at a dealership past deciding if he's comfy in the driver's seat and if he like the music system. Giving him 3 TV choices once I've vetted the specs since he's not detailed oriented and has no plans of becoming so.
I'll be purchasing the TT so expect to be treated as such at the factory. Don't think I've much patience with fawning or manipulative sales people in ANY field. Haven't fell for any of their tricks since buying a Lafayette stereo system back in the '80's, LOL. None of the RVs I'm interested in are sold at local dealerships so no sense for me to step foot in the places or RV shows either.
Kitchens.......ugh. It's apparent to me that most RVs have been designed by the clueless who are much too busy with faux granite countertops that look pretty and not much more. I want a functional galley style kitchen that allows me pivot space, the ability to open all cabinet doors and pass through space but no more. I think I've already located 2 spots to install slide out counters within the "apple of my eye" TT which I also have in my basically counter space-less prewar apartment. If it works why fix it?
Don't want to spend time cleaning fussily detailed "wood" cabinetry so Euro flat (properly made) makes sense for me. And high quality vinyl, cork or linoleum flooring. Maybe engineered wood but depends on the layout. Not spending another extra moment of my life cleaning and certainly don't want to travel with a vacuum.
Yessssssss.........I pretty much know what I want, LOL.
