Thank You everyone for the understanding replies and the advise. I have been wanting to post for a while but held back.
Anyway, I bought my RV when I was in my 30's and yes, even though the Four Winds is, I would say also, an entry level RV, they made it affordable for me at the time. I still love it. Sometimes when I look at a light switch that was screwed in crookedly, I jokingly say, "Maybe they built my RV on New Years Eve and they were drunk already" But it has served me well and still does. I don't think that Thor Motor Coach owned the company yet when my RV was built but I have heard that they might not be as high quality of an RV as say maybe Fleetwood. Still, the design in Thor's RV's are really nice. The floor plans, the beautiful cabinetry, flooring, counter tops and tables. They know how to make a nice looking RV. I have walked into some of those Winnebago's at shows and wondered if they had seen what the competition is putting out with the high price and drab design.
I was seriously considering a Fleetwood Tioga Ranger and still am, but when I saw those nice little
Axis and Vegas RVs, I want to wait around and see how they do. The price tag is at least 20 grand less then the Fleetwood. By the time I am done with a long hiking excursion next year, with my car and RV close by, I will be ready to make my choice.
Oh yeah, by the way, not all salesmen are bad, but the large amount of them is disturbing.
Thanks Gals, and Guys! And Policewomen...You Rock!!
