I'm the one who does all the research in the family. DH just asks what do I need to know. When shopping for a tow vehicle we went to a local Ford dealership. The salesman would not talk to me and would not even make eye contact. DH finally looked at him and said you should be talking to her not me. He didn't listen. I finally looked at the salesman and told him not only would I not buy a truck from him, but when I did find it elsewhere I would let their dealership service it.
Luckily not all dealerships are like that. I helped a friend buy a Buick and while closing the deal I was offered a job by the manager.
