I just spent a good hour tying to find out more information about this product. I found their internet site, but when looking for a resource for their recommended "sawdust logs", I can't find anything. Lots of links all over the internet that goes, nowhere except another page of links.
If the recommended fuel are sawdust fire logs, where do you get them, and how much do they cost? In the over-all scheme of things, if you have to purchase their recommended fuel, that might be a costly endeavor. Plus, you have to haul the firelogs around with you too, and have a constant supply. How much does this cost.
The web site prizes itself on the low ash, but once a log is burned, the remaining ash can't be burned any more. A REAL stick of wood will produce the same amount of ash, no matter what it's burned in. If you can't burn real wood logs, but have to burn particle board (minus the glue), I think I'll stick with the old style wood burner in my home and propane in the camper. I think in the end, you're going to spend a LOT of money. (a little exaggerated example here, but kind of like buying a copy machine for $50, which is a fantastic buy, but the toner cost $250 a pop and last only 100 pages! Not a good deal!)
