Work Kamping in Tent

:h Hello: new on here, tryen to find out if I can relocate as I am a current Host for the KOA Kampgrounds in Florida, and need to move to the west coast due to health reasons, however we don't own an RV. is there anyway we can work and live in a tent until we can get ahead enough to possibly purchase one at a later date?
Can anyone help with this?
we will be leaving in 2 weeks or less. Thank You. Angel
  • I would check: www.coolworks.com and www.work-for-rvers-and-campers.com Also, we have an adult son with Down syndrome who receives SSI and is eligible for other services that help us keep him at home. AZ, although it can be expensive if you don't know how to bargain hunt and I bet you do, is supposed to be one of the better states for Medicaid services. I am my son's paid caregiver. If this sounds of interest, pm me and I'll try to direct you to the info. I know that FL has something like an 8+ year waiting list for services. There are different waivers, physical, etc. Just thought I would put this out there if you weren't familiar. And, best of luck in finding something that works well for you and yours.
  • I camp hosted at Kiptopeke State park with another host who tent camped. When he showed up I thought he was nuts, but he had a blast and has returned the last two summers. We keep in touch and he has gotten a popup but says he had just as much fun in the tent.
