Worried about looks..

This year's trip is to Florida (Disney, the keys, etc...) I'm kind of crazy about keeping the RV looking good. BUT for some reason I keep thinking about all the retirees with their huge class A coaches, and I want to make my Class C look better than usual. I must be nuts

Just go & enjoy, with few exceptions MOST of those folks with the Big Coaches started out at one point or another, with less than you have now, as others have said, I don't worry about what they have, I only worry about what I have.
  • I am sorry that you are feeling that way. Camping is for YOUR enjoyment. Not to compare what we each have. Our biggest concern when we bought Was, could we afford it and could afford to maintain it. Was it easy for two older people to drive and set up and tear down. We meet all kinds of people on the road and take great joy in them. Relax, enjoy the great time you will have. Don't judge people by what they camp in.
  • Go enjoy yourself and praise God for what you have. We too get overshadowed by those large motor homes, but we have what we are supposed to have and enjoy it.
  • doesn't matter what you camp in as long as you like to camp- enjoy the vacation and don't worry about it
  • I know how you feel. I've parked next to huge rigs at private CG's where they nealry blocked the sun from getting to us.
But as long as your rig is in nice shape and clean, you have nothing to feel bad about.
  • My little TT is just like home and only cost me $8000 new out of the box.

I always remind myself about the amount of money I have that is appreciating.

    Yup....nuts..
Don't give it a second thought. If you had a Prevost, someone would have a bigger, fancier Prevost.
Get on down the road and have a good time.
  • OK, so while everyone else is off enjoying the attractions, you can stay there putting another coat of wax on it.

    Bill
  • You are. :) The nicest people I have met were often times of lesser means. I have also met some who wont even speak to people with X type rig. Base it on the people.
