Our TT has a curtain that closes off the bunks in the back. The top couple inches is just mesh, to allow for air circulation... but even so, we found that having the curtain all the way across quickly causes the bunks to get extremely "stuffy". Every night the last person to go to bed tries to remember to pull back that curtain to allow for air movement. Just something to think about when getting new curtains!
This is mostly to keep light out while dh and I may still be awake. I would open it before we went to sleep to let air, AC air or heat get to the bunks. But the boys were grumbling that light was shining into their bunks and I thought another curtain would nice to have for light blocking at bedtime.
