They just called and told me they would be borrowing a friend's pickup when they use it. Since they're both still employed, I'm assuming they get about two weeks off/year, so that sounds doable. I will deliver the trailer to their door if they decide to buy it so they're not using their car.

How do you KNOW they will use a friends pickup truck? What if they don't? Does it change your mind? Did they say it just to get you to sell the trailer?
At the end of the day, you need to do what makes you feel right. As stated, I would have no problem selling it to them. And Crowe, Im sorry, but if I had an old crib that was unsafe under ALL conditions, I'd just burn it, and not sell it. If I had an RV that was unsafe under ALL conditions (like a broken frame), then I wouldn't sell it. But Im not responsible for how someone chooses to use something.
