For another analogy – Do you think that U-Haul would be in business today if they refused to rent their trailers to customers that “might” overload the trailer or exceed their TV capacity?
If you don’t misrepresent the trailer’s condition, have advised the buyer of the published (or known) weight, and the buyer is over 21, IMHO, sell it to them.
If they don’t believe in engineering limits, let mother nature teach it to them. Experience (even if costly) is the best teacher.
