Here are a few more things I should point out. The potential buyers live about 20 miles up the road from me and pass by my house frequently. Even though I've never met them, they seem like neighbors. They are completely new to the trailer/RV world and know nothing about towing. They asked ME the questions about their car, I didn't start grilling them from nowhere and making judgements.
I think that, in spite of the disagreements here, that most of you would have felt the exact same way I did about them and wanted to help them make the right choice, especially since they asked me to help educate them. I go on the premise that most folks are basically good, and I have yet to be seriously disappointed, at least with people I meet (not counting what I read in the newspaper these days).
