After being on a waiting list for over 2 years, I finally got a large covered storage spot for our TT. It also has un-metered electric. It is pricey, but the lot is right down the street from us and is really convenient.I just moved our TT in last week. At the time, no one was in the spot to my left. I went to the lot last night to put some clothes in the TT and a large TT was parked in the spot next to me with all his slides out. The slides extend about 12-15 inches into my spot. I have a hard time getting my front door open. Also, instead of using his own electric post, his power cord is laying across the back of my site (and my neighbors site) two sites down to plug it. I am hoping he is just cleaning out his trailer and this is just temporary. Wife thinks I need to call the lot ASAP and complain. I hate to be a pain but this is really irritating me. I am going to give it until the weekend but I am paying top $$$ for this site.I didn't take this picture at a very good angle but as you can see I don't have much room in the front of my TT to get the door open.

I would be complaining already. There is no sensible reason to be leaving slides out 24.7.. with the possible exception of drying out the topper.

I would tape a note on the guy's door as an FYI, that his slide makes it tough for you to access your TT, and also you don't have much room to pull out with his slide open. Leave your # and ask him to call you. He may have opened it to unpack and forgot about it, probably an honest mistake.If he doesn't call or the slide is still out next time you go back, then I would complain to management.

I think that I would be in touch with the mgr. today. He should be the one to contact the owner.

I agree if he hasn't brought the slide back in by your next visit or one week which ever is sooner, I would speak to management about it. No need for you to get personally involved. You paid your fee.It is possible I suppose that he cleaned the carpet and left the slides out for drying purposes, but that does not explain the power cord.

I would immediately complain to mgmt. You are paying for the entire space and should be able to use and have access to every bit of it. I also think your neighbor is extremely rude and inconsiderate to even do something like that. No, I don't think he absent mindlessly left it out. Some people only give a******about themselves!

It's the 'all about me attitude', you can't fix rude/stupid.
But you can contact management, that's what I would do.

Actually that little bit wouldn't bother me but it is a legitimate complaint.

I'd give it a brief amount of time to self correct and then talk to the office-request the slides come in or you want a different spot.

I had similar issue recently. Boat cover on adjacent site wasn't secured and flapped into my site possibly rubbing on my RV. It definitely required gathering up and tossing back into his site before I moved my RV. He was called once and asked to do better job of securing cover. That didn't work out. I had been scouting vacant sites and requested a move to a spot I picked. Moved two days later.

The other thing I didn't mention is I keep two 4'x2' storage bins in the back of my site to keep items stored that I'm not using for a particular trip (instead of dragging around weight). I had these on my last smaller spot (at the same storage lot) for the last 3 years and never had an issue. They are well inside my allotted site. These storage bins had been "pushed" back about a foot into the site behind me. The neighbors power cord runs right in front of these storage bins across my site. I think that bothers me more than the slides being extended. Of course I don't know who moved them but I would never touch anyone's property.

Drive around the lot and scout out new sites. Moving is often the easiest way out of this.

I took the picture at a bad angle (was sitting in my truck). At the front of my site, the slide is at least 12" on my side of the line. I can barely open my front door of my trailer. If it was less I wouldn't really care, but I still think it's rude to be outside of your space. We pay good money for these spots.

I would also notify management. Leaving the slides out in those close quarters unattended shows a lack of common courtesy and lack of common sense.

Wish I could. I waited over 2 years for one of these large sites (12.5 x 45) to open. I moved from a 12.5 x 35 but these 45' don't come available very often. Three came open at once and they are all gone now (there is a waiting list). Planning on getting a Class A soon and jumped on this site as soon as it became available.

Then it is up to the office to fix it. You want your 12.5 wide site, not 11.5 foot wide site...

Most of these places have quite a few mgmt drive by and checks of the lot. Yours looks like a nice place. They "discovered" the slide out on one of their drive bys. ;)
