We've taken up tent camping again during the summer, we live in CA and it hardly ever rains here in the summer. We can get to the campsite so much faster in a car, get 50 mpg, and have just about every comfort that we have in the TT, except for a propane refrigerator. That's the only thing that I really miss. It's also much easier to book tent sites at the popular campgrounds around here than it is to book trailer sites. Unfortunately, our favorite RV park in the Pismo Beach area doesn't allow tent camping; we only go there during the winter.
