I belong to a kayaking group - and sometimes the group chooses to camp (or launch the boats) where my Class C simply won't fit. So yes, I have a really nice tent with a cot (my concession to old age....LOL!) and I don't mind tenting at all. However: it takes me FOREVER to pack, for a tenting weekend. The Class C, on the other hand, is almost ready to go at a moment's notice :-) An RV makes things SO much easier!!
