Some years ago I met a young couple with a baby at a county park in California who were fulltime "tenters". They chose a teepee style tent and appeared quite content and comfortable with the setup. They figured if Native Americans could do it, so could they.
As for me, I'm a fulltime RVer and don't think a tent would work well in my case, although I must admit the thought has crossed my mind. Maybe if I was 40 years younger.....
