My son is in Boy Scouts like I was when I was his age. They don't let you take the RV on a Scout hike. I don't mind tent camping, especially when you back pack to some spectacular sites.
Having said that, I prefer to take my small camper to remote RV spots to boondock instead of my large 34' trailer.
