I loved tent camping when I was a kid. When parents got a big enough TT for all of us I'd still 'camp on my own' in my pup tent. But today I'll readily give up camping before I go back to tent camping. 38 years in the Army cured me of that. Not all of it under the stars of course. Those of you who have been there know quite well. Also, getting older, I've got more than enough cricks, creeks, cracks and groans getting up out of a regular bed every morning.
