I towed the same Trail Sport 21RBH that atreis above has with a 2002 V6 explorer sport trac. Mine had 4.10's. It towed fair. Not great but fair. About the same as towing my 32' TT now with an E350. Don't be afraid to let the motor rev, its not going to hurt it and its going to need to. 3.73's are not going to help. Forget about OD. With mine the converter would unlock as a first attempt at increasing RPM's prior to downshifting. When this happens I would always try to never allow it to run unlocked for more than a few seconds. After a few seconds either give it enough gas to down shift or manually downshift until you get over the hill.
