wrangler question
Looking for info on towing 4 down. Not worried about the steering lock. More concerned if there any issues with possible damage to transfer case from towing in gear with transfer in neutral

A Wrangles transfer case has a oil pump that is powered from the output shaft (rear drive shaft) so it get lubricated the same as if it was being driven.
This common on Jeep products and is one of the reasons Jeep's are good for 4 down towing.
