If I am understanding the concept, you are reducing rolling resistance which creates heat build up on the tire caused by higher speeds by increasing tire pressure or reducing the weight load on the tire. I still wonder about rotational forces on the tires at higher speeds but can accept these steps as a way to mitigate the affects of higher speeds.
