Wrecks

I have traveled many miles in 7 decades. Have only seen 3 RV wrecks. But on Monday I39 south of Rockford Il a Nothbound TT blocked both lanes from grass to grass. Was on it’s right side. Tow vehicle was free from TT. Tow was on drivers
side. Then today I74 mm47 in the work zone camper wrapped around light pole
with tow vehicle face traffic. Just can not figure what is going on.

I agree. People in a hurry to get nowhere, it's vacation not the Indy 500 and big trailer and inadequate tow vehicle.

Typically I drive 5 under the limit on dry road with good visibility, you want to go faster, go around me. less than ideal conditions, even slower.

My point exactly in another thread.

Except that I go by the speed limits or slightly up. Otherwise, I'm in danger of being ticketed too for obstruction by going below speed limits for my rig, lol.

  • People getting frustrated with traffic conditions, driving too fast for those conditions, falling asleep, not reading construction zone sides, ignoring road ends signs, all kinds of things.
