Ya think this is too close...

Maybe,, Had a friend bought a brand new Excursion 7.3 Diesel, We were in Las Vegas towing a trailer on The 15, his DIC said 25 miles until Empty, As he said maybe we should get some fuel,, it ran out of diesel and left us stranded in the middle lane of a busy busy freeway!!
I would NEVER trust it to be that close!!
Did you fuel up? how accurate was it?
