Mine too. I will fill up even if at 3/4 tank, if I'm already stopped for something else, and it's convenient. Waiting until you absolutely have to is really scary!

I also top off whenever we stop for something else.... And when running somewhere I have never been before , I start looking at 1/2 . With a 51 gallon tank , that leaves me PLENTY of padding.

I was always taught NOT to let the tank get that low as it would suck up all the debris from the bottom ( if any )
