I can feel for you.
We have experienced the same thing many times and under different circumstances.
We always try to pick the most secluded places and then either the ones with a barking dog, or the cell phone shouters, or the bongo drummers, or the screaming kids or the loud party crowd will set up right beside us.
Thankfully we have kayaks and canoes, and can get away from it all for the day and hope they are all worn out when we get back.
