OP here. Thank you for some outstanding suggestions. I already had a bottle of the cleaner "Awesome" that I have yet to use. Sounds like it's some pretty strong stuff. I originally bought it to spray on my painted aluminum fishing boat to try and get rid of the lake scum that was left on it from last season.
I will bring some bleach (also to sanitized my water system)as well as the Awesome to see which one works best.
I will post back my results in a couple of weeks when I can get down to the camper for a weekend.
