Yellowstone food

We will be in Yellowstone next week Thursday through Sunday.Old faithful dining room will be open. For anyone who's been there in May,do you think we need reservations for Thursday dinner? Are there any other places in the park you recommend to eat?

    I doubt you'll need reservations this time of the year. We were there last year at the end of May and had n issues. I'm not sure of the name of the Lodge on the Lake, big yellow lodge, but their restaurant is very nice and the dinner was great. We've eaten there twice. Some dress up and some don't.
