Yes, I am aware of those numbers but I don't intend to load to the GVWR of 16,500. As I mentioned, it would be within the limits of the my max tow rate. I agree that the main concern would be pin weight however. I'm hoping for reports from those who may be actually towing something similar to what I outline and what the real world experience is. I don't want to digress into a numbers discussion. While that is really the yard stick by which we have to measure, I can't believe that we are limited to an RV that is no real upgrade. When I look at the 28 ft eclipse and the like, we are not attracted to it. The only thing attractive is the 8800 lb. dry weight.
