Slow down and relax is great advice. It's not a race, it's for pleasure, enjoy it and don't stress about.
See the quote in my signature. Good planning and preparation eliminates most headaches. But not everything can be planned for.
Many years ago we were returning from a short trip. About 3/4 of the way home it started pouring. We about 15 minutes from home doing about 45 mph and my back wheels hit a slick spot and the entire rear of the truck slid sideways. Our trailer starting doing the sway dance. I really thought it was going to dump it was that bad. I really believe the sway control bar saved my neck that day. A 10 second incident felt like 10 minutes. REALLY scary! I pulled over and it took me 15 minutes for my heart to slow down.
