The close call for me was in GA when I was passing a semi. Started to go around him at 60 and as soon as I got half way over there it was..........a road gator! It was too late to get back over so I just pushed it all the way left and missed it by inches!!!! The DC earned its money that day!!!!
My "accident" was me backing into the driveway getting everything ready to leave in the morning. Backed up and misjudged the distance to the garage door and "bump" just barely touched the garage door frame. A little wrinkle in the trailer siding and a nice little imprint at the top of brick mold. I still think someone moved the house 6 inches forward?
