3. Leave a larger than normal gap in front of you. Yes, cars will fill that gap; just slow down and open it up again. See #1.
4. Anything that is hazardous to normal driving (slick roads, etc) is significantly more dangerous when towing.
5. Too little truck = lots less luck. Take it from someone who got away with it for a few years but drove white-knuckled the entire time. Always a nice wind gust away from potential disaster.
