Years ago I was listening to an interview of a park ranger on the radio. This was in Jasper National park. The ranger said the dumbest thing he had ever seen was a dad putting jam on his two little kids hands in effort to get a bear over to lick their hands so he could get a picture.
We travel through there often and there are usually big bull elk grazing beside the road with their huge racks. Countless times we have seen people trying to get close enough to get a picture of them touching these animals.I can't get away fast enough as I do not need to see the results.
