Now that is unusual. My honda starts on the first pull on a regular basis. I have a honda 3000 and have used it since 2005 with no issues. It certainly runs my 15k AC no problem. But it will struggle to run the AC and the micro at the same time. It is extremely quiet and I have been very very happy with it.

No, I never got it looked at. I should have known there was something up when I pulled it out of the box and it took 18 pulls to start it the first time.
Now it routinely takes about 30 pulls to start it these days - and I drain the bowl and use stabilizer and SeaFoam in the fuel between uses. Oh it only takes 3~5 pulls if it has run in the last 24 hours but otherwise I get a workout.
If I were to do it over again, I would get one of the new Champions. They have the same noise levels and higher (1700 watt vs the eu2000I's 1600 watt) continuous output.
FWIW, my buddy has a Yami that has always out performed mine. Runs smoother too.
