Example would 8 people sitting around a campfire 10:05 pm talking in normal tone.
Is that a violation?
Curious what the thoughts are,
Is the mother inside her tent reading a story to a small person in a tone the same as above. A violation,
On a serious note where do you hang your hat on the issue
Thanks. Great group
No hard rule (unless park has it). But there are different variables. Size of the sites. Is anyone in the site)s) adjacent. Are the people in the sites still awake?
We stayed at a private campground once and the sites were small. The fire ring for the site next door was literally just a few feet from the TT we had (and right outside our bedroom).I was woken up at about 1am to people talking, music and laughing. The reason being was because our A/C turned off. Before it must of muffled the sound. I looked out the window and the people next door were outside under the awning. An hour or so later, the voices got louder. I looked out my bedroom window and saw the people next start a campfire and were sitting around it talking. I could hear every word they said. And some of it was stuff they didn't want others to hear, i'm sure. I made all kind of noises to try and let them know that they could be heard. But they kept on. Finally at about 3 am or so, I got up and went outside and walked around and told them we could hear them, every word they said and asked if they could be quiet. I went back in side and heard one of them make a comment about us eavesdropping. If it were the night before, I probably would of made such a deal about it. But we were leaving that morning and had a long drive ahead of us and we needed our rest. I did let the office know upon checking out that morning about what I had to do.
