We have been extremely happy with what we have since 2007. Have not seen anything that suits our needs better. Needs are over 150 nights per year & 15-20K miles i.e. lots of traveling.
For what you describe for needs I'd also go the route of a TT or much smaller 5th wheel.
Makes no sense to have a self propelled any other class sitting for so long each year doing nothing.
