We had a micro mini motorhome. Don't care for driving your home everywhere you go and and if you have to tow a car you might as well tow a trailer. We need a 4WD truck because we hike a lot in out of way places. We had a TT and ran out of room since we spend months at a time in it. We LOVE fifth wheel campers. Put a roll top cover over bed and still plenty of room in back even though it is not an 8' bed. Plenty of storage space in the 30' fifth wheel. So much easier to tow than the TT. My hubby has just always preferred pulling a fifth wheel.
