Who made your aluminum shelter? That looks pretty nice.
Ordered through these folks:
GAPort
If I remember correctly, there are one or two suppliers of the hardware in US (Carolina Carports may be one of the main suppliers). Basically there are MANY individuals marketing the kits, pricing was pretty close between several I checked. Once you make a decision, they schedule a crew to assembly when kit/hardware delivered. 2-4 week scheduling.
Assembly was done in like 1.5 hour at most. Area does have to be level, then usually need side area (mine is between a shed and chain link fence) and they got it assembled.
Markiemark:C - the_bear_IIExplorerIf I ever have property large enough to build one on I plan to make it at least 50 feet deep with a 15 foot wide and 14 foot high door. This will allow me to put whatever sized RV I buy in it.

Markiemark:C - mlts22ExplorerDepending on where I buy a place, I might do one of three things:
1: Build an extended height carport. This would provide not just shelter for the rig, but a place to stick solar panels.
2: Build a RV chalet from Bunzer Consulting's plans.
3: Build a multi-story garage/pole barn. Something like the above, likely smaller. - lanerdExplorer III built ours last year... 30 x 50 x 16 frame w/siding and tile roof, 14' roll up door for mh, and 8' roll up door for truck and quad toys.
We are in the desert of Sou Cal, and spend our summers in Oregon and winters here. During the winter, I winterize the mh and since our winters hardly ever get below freezing, I didn't feel it necessary to finish the inside or heat/cool it. Building large enough to open all four slides when inside and leaves plenty of room to walk around mh or work on it.

- downtheroadExplorerNice to have...
- dump station
- heated
- big enough for slides out
- two doors to allow drive through - thus no backing into it.
- SWDExplorerAll done! 40 x 60 x 16 with overhead ir heater.
and inside
