Was the unit ever weighed when loaded?

I asked this a few days ago, well not if it has been weighed, but rather overloaded.  how it could take out 3 tires and brake lines, did he mean wires?  but no answer, so my faith in this being real defect, is leaning towards misuse / abuse, or just very exaggerated
