He wants to be able to run it engine off, but tonight said he does not care if it has to idle to prevent battery depletion. It is not as if the idling engine would be heard over the stereo.
The powermax is simply to feed each group 31 at a minimum of 40 amps when depleted. It is nice that it plugs into a standard 15 amp household outlet. The Iota would not. These batteries also require absorption voltage be held for 4 hours or until amps to hold 14.7v fall below 1 amp, again the Iota does not fit this requirement.
I've no idea what the stereo will actually draw in actual use. I don't really want anything to do with setting up the amps or speakers. I'll run cables to the amps take some measurements during operation, thats it.
