A few years ago (2009 was one) Can Tire sold a PSW 1000w that was made by SunForce. Their other inverters were/are made by Xantrex. The SunForce PSW 1000w one had two 500w receptacles, not one of which could do 1000w.
Later on, Can Tire switched to this Xantrex one which allows 1000w from either of its two receptacles or some combo of watts using both totalling 1000w.
I got mine two years ago when there was a thread about this model being on sale at the time. You don't really even need the wired remote (never mind a wireless) since it draws so little power itself you can just leave it on if you want. My 2000w inverter does have more of a standby draw though so its remote is more worth it.
