The plug is at the rear of the trailer and the converter etc is near the front. I have a 2000 watt inverter/gen that I would like to use and set in the storage compartment in the front.
Would it be possible to wire in a second plug into the front compartment so a guy doesn't have to run any cord outside the trailer?
My philosophy as well. Even sticking it under the TT can result in exhaust entering TT. Placing it in a compartment, even one originally designed for a mounted one, does not solve the problem, alone. You need an exhaust pipe, securely and properly mounted, designed to move the exhaust outside the sides of the TT so gasses are vented away from living space.
