The generator door on my RV is not vented, the genny vents out the bottom. (So you know not all genny compartments are vented)
50 Amp RV service is identical to your house power set up.. It is amazing how many people have no problem understanding that in their house they have both 120 volt and 240 volt devices and some that use both 120 and 240 (Cloths dryer for example, the timer motor or computer uses 120 vac, the blower/drum motor is likely 120vac only the heater is 240) but can not wrap their minds around the fact that in nearly all RV's nothing uses 240 volt other than possibly an Energy manager (load shedding type) and all it uses 240 volt for it to say "Oh, 50 amp, I can take a vacaton".
