My MSW Vector Maxx SST 2000w runs microwaves and motors ok, but is built for that surge.
In the manual they do suggest running a resistive load at the same time if some inductive load won't start because of surge.
My question here was not about MSW/PSW as such.
On load faults, if you have a huge load wattage, that sucks down the input battery voltage too with the high amps there, so it is a race whether the inverter will trigger a low input voltage fault or its overload fault first. :)
