I consistently measure a 6:1 power savings using LEDs vs incandescent. And this applies to both 12V rig lights and 120V home lights.
Your 30W 0.5A DC 120V LED usage seems consistent with my 60W 0.095A 120V LED house bulb. Maybe a little high due to measurement accuracy.
