The 4.2 volt modules in my 300 watt CREE light bar agree watts per lumen with your 3 watt flashlight wa8xym. Trial and error taught me OSRAM, Bridgelux, and Phillips to be losers lumens per watt. Meaning visible brightness. The beta CREE chips are a winner with CRI index in excess of 80 but they are even more volt lumen sensitive than regular chips. My eyes prefer 4.5 to 5.0K color LEDs far better than any fluorescent lighting. CFLs are now Buggy Whip bait...
