I had to replace the 7-pin connector at the bumper a few years ago because it was all corroded inside where the two Chev version parts join. The replacement standard 7-pin was just one part.
It was a nightmare matching the Chev wire colours for each pin to the standard wire colours, but there are drawings for that on-line for each brand of truck. (Google) Also a mirror image thing to sort out between the two Chev parts.
It was not the camper connection up behind the cab at the front of the box, it was the one down at the bumper.
