12v DC to 120v AC Inverter?

I need to get a reliable 600/800W constant/max power, PSW-12v DC to 120v AC inverter to use/run small hand tools (Drills,Saws etc) with the truck/Atv (running) to supply the power for in the field applications and possibly other items while boondocking, I haven't thought of yet.

Needs to be as small and lite as possible for packing around, hooks up via clips/wires to battery posts of the engines etc. I don't think a cig lighter plug in will be HD enough.

Any suggestions or Ideas as to Good Brand name products that will stand up to in the field use etc.

Tia,
Don

  • It'll pull at least 67 amps, so, no, plugging into the cigarette lighter won't work.
