12V fan question
Down here in Mexico, the temperatures are high. While we camp (in our truck camper) without hookups, we can't run the AC (technically we could, since we have a generator), so we're looking to get a fan here at Walmart. They sell a 12V fan to plug into the cigarette lighter of the car.
Our truck camper's LED TV is plugged into the RV with a cigarette lighter plug.
Questions:
- Do you think we can use the TV's plug for the fan? When we bought the RV, they told us that the TV runs on 12V (so it works even when we're not hooked up to shore power), so I assume the fan will be able to use it.
- We only have 1 battery in our RV. Does someone know how much a 12V fan drains the battery? It would be great if we can leave it on overnight in the RV, but don't want to wake up with an empty battery.
Thank you!
